EPWORTH HEALTHCARE

40 YEARS OF CARDIAC CARE TIMELINE

Epworth Healthcare is renowned for excellence in diagnosis, treatment, care, rehabilitation and as an innovator in Victoria’s health system.

In 2021, Epworth Hospital celebrated 40 years of cardiac care. To commemorate this milestone, Bite was asked to design a timeline incorporating 40 highlights spanning from 1981 to 2021.

Bite introduced a heartbeat motif as a connecting device throughout the design and used the key dates as pull-out graphics for visual interest.

ALFRED HEALTH

ANNUAL REPORT

Bite has produced a number of communications pieces for Alfred Health including several Annual Reports. Working closely with Alfred Health, Bite designed the 124-page Annual Report for the 2016-17 financial year, which in this particular year, included the Quality Account publication (usually separate) in the Annual Report. 

In adhering to the Victorian government reporting regulations, the design needed to comply to various rules such as a limited internal colour palette. It was therefore particularly important to add visual interest through the design, layout, image treatment and infographics.

REGIS HEALTHCARE

ANNUAL REPORT 2019

Regis Healthcare currently provides services to more than 7,000 older Australians through 64 residential aged care homes, 6 home care services, 5 day therapy centres, 4 day respite centres and 6 retirement villages. Regis is a leader in Australia’s aged care sector providing quality care and services through nearly 9,000 employees.

Bite developed the theme ‘This is my family…this is my home’. This concept featured several residents, the on-going support of their families and the connection with their new home and the support that it provides.

Bite has designed and produced five Regis Healthcare Annual Reports.

ALFRED HEALTH

eTQC BRANDING

eTQC (electronic Timely Quality Care): Transforming the way we deliver patient care, through a connected digital clinical information system.

Alfred Health acknowledged that clinical variation was one of the emerging concerns for hospital leadership. To address this issue, they decided to transition the organisation (including The Alfred, Caulfield Hospital, Sandringham Hospital and Melbourne Sexual Health Centre) to use an electronic medical record system called eTQC.

Working closely with Alfred Health, Bite developed a brand logo and positioning statement for an internal stakeholder audience and a visual identity that could be used with both internal and external audiences. This was then applied to various pieces of collateral, including a suite of icons for training workflow charts and lift door wraps.

ACT HEALTH

10-YEAR CAPITAL ASSET PROGRAM BRANDING

ACT Health is the Department of Health in the Australian Capital Territory. ACT Health embarked on a 10-year capital asset development program which would provide major upgrades to existing assets, as well as building brand new health infrastructure throughout their jurisdiction – the Australian Capital Territory.

As this was a major infrastructure program costing many millions of dollars, a brand and communications campaign was required to inform and educate the general public of the massive changes that would take place over a long period of time.

This would have a major impact on the general public as at times there would be inconvenience with road closures and building works. However, there would be substantial long-term benefits and so communications were critical from an education and information perspective. More importantly, community support for this project was essential.

A brand needed to be developed that communicated, in the simplest way, the ‘blue sky’ nature of this project: while the project would take some time, in the long term it would enhance the lives of all ACT residents, especially today’s younger community as they will be future beneficiaries.

HEALTHSHARE VICTORIA

BRANDING ROLL-OUT

HealthShare Victoria was established in 2021 as a merger between Health Purchasing Victoria and Melbourne Health Logistics. It provides Victoria’s public health services with supply chain, procurement and corporate services.

Bite was asked to apply a new visual identity across the company’s collateral, including a new website, corporate Word and PowerPoint templates, social media company pages, lockscreens, Report templates, eDM templates and signage.

Regis Healthcare currently provides services to more than 7,000 older Australians through 64 residential aged care homes, 6 home care services, 5 day therapy centres, 4 day respite centres and 6 retirement villages. Regis is a leader in Australia’s aged care sector providing quality care and services through nearly 9,000 employees.

Bite has worked with Regis for a number of years providing all manner of visual communications support. During that time, we have developed a brand strategy and visual identity, a Visual Style Guide, way-finding and architectural signage, a Signage Style Guide, internal and external communications collateral including HR resource materials, marketing collateral and much more.
