Women for Women in Africa branding

Women for Women in Africa works with the women and children of Kibera in Kenya, East Africa’s largest slum and one of the largest in the world. They provide education and resources to enable women and children to live a life of dignity, happiness and hope for the future.

Bite is very proud to have assisted this deserving charity with the development of a new brand and visual identity. Working with this small group of dedicated volunteers, we created a new logo in response to a comprehensive brief by marketing specialist Monique Smith. Once the logo design was approved, Bite developed a visual architecture and brand style guide which included various communications collateral such as: newsletters; stationery; email signatures; invitations; and Board documents.

Women for Women in Africa’s collateral items will be used both in Australia and Kenya, so two versions of each were required. Feedback from the Australian executive and even more importantly from the team in Kenya, has been extremely positive. The new brand positions Women for Women in Africa as a contemporary and professional organisation, which provides an excellent launching pad to grow and prosper into the future.
