The Victorian Environmental Water Holder (VEWH) works with catchment management authorities and Melbourne Water to ensure environmental water entitlements are used to achieve the best environmental outcomes with water that is available.

Following our successful delivery of the 2020-21 Seasonal Watering Plan, Bite was asked by VEWH to produce the 2021-22 Seasonal Watering Plan.

The Plan provides a guide to how the VEWH and program partners plan to use the water available to achieve the best possible environmental watering outcomes in a range of climate scenarios. It represents a consolidation of proposed watering actions developed from a bank of local knowledge from regions and scientific monitoring programs.

An important part of the project is adhering to very tight and specific timelines. As with last year, Bite met every milestone and the client was delighted with the result.
