Rail Safety Systems Pty Ltd is an Australian company specialising in innovative transport safety solutions for the Rail Industry. Their flagship product, the RSS Rail Active Crossing System (RAXS), is a solar-powered and wireless crossing system, offering fast and cost-effective installation and operation in remote and regional areas.

Bite was commissioned to design and construct a website that conveys the benefits of this product to a small, sophisticated and technology-aware audience including governments and rail operators.

As the operation of the crossing is the key feature, it was important that we create a page which displays a video of an actual crossing in action. For this video we coordinated a shoot at one of the test (operational) sites in regional Queensland.

The website was designed so that technical information can be simplified with the support of images, diagrams and video. The client is delighted with the result and feedback from visitors to the site.
