National Disaster Recovery Needs Assessment Guidelines
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is an agency of the Australian federal government under the Department of Home Affairs. The agency is responsible coordinating and managing a national-level emergency response to help those affected by natural disasters, including droughts, bushfires and floods.
NEMA developed a National Disaster Recovery Needs Assessment Guidelines report that contained principles and processes for nationally compatible approaches to support the design and implementation of community recovery needs assessment.
Bite was asked to design and layout the 34 page report incorporating various graphic diagrams to aid in understanding the complex topic. Imagery of renewal were employed to reflect the theme of recovery from disaster.
The final report was created as an accessibly compliant web PDF.
