The Knox City Council is a local government authority in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne. It has an area of 114 square kilometres and a population of around 180,000. Council provides a broad range of services to the community including arts and culture, sport and leisure, festivals and events.

Following Bite’s successful design and production of the 2021-22 Annual Report, we were asked to produce the 2022-23 report. While providing a summary of operations and finances, the annual report also celebrates the diversity and vibrancy of Knox, highlighting Council’s operations for the financial year, community activities, public art, festivals, and Council’s five strategic directions.

To emphasise the vibrancy of Knox, we chose a striking image of major piece of public art with the artists for the front cover. This fantastic image enabled us to provide a colourful and interesting cover which invites readers to into the report.

The client was delighted with the result and with Bite’s capacity to turn around such a large and complex document of 204 pages, in a limited time.
