Learning Advisory Panel Report

KIOSK, a joint initiative between Swinburne University and a number of secondary schools within the local government area of Knox (Victoria), provides opportunities for students to engage in innovative STEM education programs to help them make informed decisions about career pathways.

In 2022, Bite was tasked with producing a Learning Advisory Panel (LAP) Report. The purpose of the Learning Advisory Panel was to enhance the design and delivery of STEM learning programs delivered by KIOSK, embedding the improvements in the practices at KIOSK and positioning KIOSK as a key stakeholder in the enhancement of the Education State Agenda. Learning Advisory Panel members, KIOSK staff and Swinburne University representatives combined to discuss the improvement. The LAP report provided a summary of these discussions, recommendations and improved practices.

The outcomes of the LAP process have been embedded into improving the practices at KIOSC and have been fed directly into KIOSC’s business and strategic plan moving forward. Following the first LAP report in early 2022, a second report was produced later that year.
