The City of Kingston is located approximately 20km south of Melbourne, surrounded by the cities of Bayside, Monash, Glen Eira, Greater Dandenong and Frankston. Kingston is recognised as one of Victoria’s main employment centres and largest industrial sectors, with more than 70,000 people employed across 15,500 businesses. The Council has a statutory responsibility to table the annual report with the state parliament every year.

Bite designed, laid out and produced the 2021-22 and 2022-23 Annual Reports. Following approval of the design, and after receiving text and images from Council, we proceeded to lay out the entire report – 176 and 196 pages respectively. Featuring icon-based, illustrative-based and photographic-based infographics, the reports were visually appealing. 

We addressed various sets of authors’ corrections, and on final sign-off, provided a final print-ready and web-ready file.
We also co-ordinated print production and delivery.

The 2022-23 report also featured a navigation menu at the top of each page that in the digital web PDF version, included hyperlinks to the major sections of the report to increase usability.

The two reports were well received by the key stakeholders.
