The City of Port Phillip developed a set of Nature Strip Guidelines for the local community in the Council area, to explain the considerations for gardening on the nature strip, and the safety and tree protection requirements.

Bite illustrated several different scenarios which indicate different rules regarding planting. A combination of hand drawn line work and watercolour textures were used to create a friendly yet understandable diagram.
